Testing 2,5-dimethylfuran (dmf) in test engine
2,5 dimethylfuran (DMF) is one of the prominent novel biofuels which is competitive with bio-ethanol to be an alternative fuel for gasoline (petrol). As part of my bio-refinery research, we conducted a test run with 10% DMF in gasoline at the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, University of Peradeniya.
